More letters went out to Faraji e-Consulting, but either nobody replied or I got mailer-daemon messages (returned mail). Somebody else I had sent the letter to, however, did reply. This person had no connection to Faraji e-Consulting and I knew it. So why did I contact him? Well, the extension of the e-mail address in the registrant info for Revenue Path e-Consulting caught my eye. It was almost as if I had heard of it before; maybe I have. I went to the web site that was the extension of the e-mail and I just knew. But as every detective knows, an intuitive guess cannot give you actual proof. So I worked with what I had to get it. See the whois report below for revpath.net, a site registered to Revenue Path e-Consulting, containing the e-mail address with the 'revpath.com' extension.
whois:
The e-mail with the questionable extension, 'billing@revpath.com,' is in this whois report. Now please look at the screen shot of revpath.com...
url: www.revpath.com
revpath.com took me to this site. As you can see, revpath.com is a personal site belonging to a man named John D. Shumway. His site is an account of his past and present business and marketing enterprises, and ‘RevPath Partners’ is the name he uses for independent consulting. Below is my correspondence with Mr. Shumway that proves he is not part of Faraji e-Consulting.

Subject: Question about your company, Faraji e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd/Revenue Path e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd
Hi,
I had a question regarding the gift sites your company is promoting. This is one of them: http://crown.westernzest.com/SplashPage.aspx?g=8118ef1850fa462db859570e59e2e73b&nm=01nggfw2jqx7as&s=&se=51 - Could you tell me how long your company has offered these rewards through a gift program? I ask because the addresses on these sites changed to locations in Hong Kong, England and India. The addresses on these sites once were Canadian locations, and were managed by a Canadian company. In March of last year I myself received a reward in for the form of a $3,000.00 check from Consumers Reward Solutions, the Canadian company. According to an anonymous source, I was told that the company had changed drastically with new staff members, and the employment of a third-party company to handle customer service. Would your company, Faraji E-Consulting Pvt Ltd, be the third-party company or are you the parent company for Consumers Rewards Solutions?
I have never spoken directly to anyone at Faraji E-Consulting Pvt Ltd, nor have I communicated with the individuals my anonymous source spoke to who updated them on Consumer Rewards Solutions's status. Could you please tell me what Faraji E-Consulting Pvt's role is in all this? I'd appreciate it as any information you provide may clear up some of the confusion surrounding these changes.
Regards,
wozniack"

Hi Wozniack,
There is an vast network of promotional sites of questionable legitimacy registered under a company name RevenuePath Ltd. The domains they have registered either mistakenly or intentionally list ‘billing@revpath.com” as their email address. I own revpath.com but am not connected to any of the any of their operations – whoever they are. My revpath.com site is a personal site and ‘RevPath Partners’ is the name I use when I do independent consulting.
Sorry I couldn’t help clarify. I have no clear idea how to contact those behind RevenuePath Ltd.

Hi John,
Thank you for responding. Since I couldn't get through to anyone at Faraji e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd, the company behind Revenue Path e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd (RevenuePath Ltd), I sent my message to the e-mail addresses I found on Google. The extension for 'billing@revpath.com' is 'revpath.com', which is how I found your web site, revpath.com. However, I wasn't entirely sure that you were involved with Faraji e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd/Revenue Path e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd. I had hoped that if you were/were not affiliated with the company that you'd reply to me and you did. They won't respond to me at all, though I know a lot about their company given the amount of research I have done.
I will inform my readers that you and 'RevPath Partners' are in no way associated with Faraji e-Consulting Pvt Ltd and Revenue Path e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd. I am the author of a freebie blog that is designed to safeguard members from scams and lead them to legitimate networks. You may have seen advertisements on the web promising a $1,000.00 gift card. Well, not all of them are scams as I have received many rewards in the mail; however, there are some underhanded companies out there that have scammed in the past, and there are possibly more that are doing it now. That's where I come in, and that is why I contacted you as well as those at Faraji e-Consulting Pvt, Ltd. My blog can be found here: DIYfreebies.com
Once again, thank you for responding. I appreciate it.
Thanks,

Hi Wozniack,
Thank you for your note and for your diligence. Took a look at your blog and it looks like you’re doing a real service for your readers.
John"
revpath.com and 'RevPath Partners' belong to John Shumway, and he is not involved with Faraji e-Consulting/Revenue Path e-Consulting. Whether this was done intentionally or unintentionally can't be known without communicating with Faraji e-Consulting. I sent them more messages but still no response, so I continued investigating what happened to CRS. Consumers Reward Solutions once were in the pink and overcame the disadvantages of the Melanie Kyle fiasco. Even after the confrontation at their Canadian office in September 2011 (see this blog: "A night of tricks and treats, Part 1...") , they were seemingly doing well and could pay their members. But after November rolled around things started to change. Only one payment was reported in November, and members' e-mails to Dave were bouncing.
Then on December 28, 2012, I received news that Dave told our anonymous source that he was let go. Our anonymous source also said the people in customer support said their company name was Consumers Reward Solutions. That phone call to support was made in February, so the company was still "Consumers Reward Solutions" six months ago. Then, the person I spoke to who received a laptop from Faraji e-Consulting, got his reward in May or June. So something happened between the months of February and May-June. There is no trace of CRS at all. Where did they go? From what I can tell, Faraji e-Consulting are the "new CRS"; they've adopted the same Rewards Status pages and terms, but put their own address on their contact pages. Either CRS handed over their company to Faraji e-Consulting, or they are still CRS with Faraji e-Consulting acting as a DBA for their India sites. If it's the latter, then are the London and Hong Kong sites under Faraji e-Consulting as well? Or are there two more DBAs for the London and Hong Kong-based sites?
If I knew what happened to CRS, I could find out a lot more. I did find a new address in connection with CRS, so that gives me something to work with. Let's look at it the whois report for consumersrewardssolutions.com...
whois:
Address:
No.100 Century Avenue
Shanghai, Shanghai 200120
China
This whois report is VERY interesting! It shows the domain was "created" on April 29, 2012. So consumersrewardsolutions.com is NOW registered to Winsom Wong in Shanghai, China. Evidently, the name "Consumers Reward Solutions" is still present, just the web site is gone. Why was consumersrewardsolutions.com re-registered? Who is running the new sites? CRS? Faraji e-Consulting? Both, if they are the same company? Did CRS sell it's assets outright? Sell their stock in the company? Sell the company to its employees through an employee stock-ownership plan? The employee stock-ownership plans works well because the owner can remain with the company while taking money out of it. And it’s a way to reward and provide a long-term incentive for his/her employees. I could sit here all day and come up with various outcomes, but I'm only surmising because I can't confirm my thoughts. The fact is that "consumersrewardsolutions.com" is an active domain. That tells us that "Consumers Reward Solutions" hasn't died completely. Either CRS still functions as themselves, or have made a business transaction, selling their assets to Faraji e-Consulting; this would make Faraji e-Consulting a separate entity. From now on I will be calling Faraji e-Consulting by their abbreviation, FEC. When you see "FEC" in my writings, that stands for Faraji e-Consulting.
I'm contacting winsonwong@gmail.com, the e-mail address in the whois report, in hopes they can help me. But I'm not holding my breath that they'll respond, as I have sent hundreds of e-mails out and got nothing in return.
Now for an Ace Brands Online update... We'll start with screen shots from Ace Brands Online's BBB page.
The phone number now shows "disconnected." This change must have occurred between May and August. Only 2 out of 5 complaints were resolved, but they must be somewhat active if somebody resolved those complaints? I've contacted Ace Brands Online over and over again and have gotten no where. But somebody has to be there. Their sites are still working as well. Nuitech never answered my question regarding them possibly managing their gift sites either. Speaking of Nuitech, I have good news regarding Amped Media's rewarding promos sites! I was able to find two old PMs from a member who said they were paid on a rewarding promos site. Keep in mind, this member DID NOT do a Nuitech site, at the time everybody thought rewarding promos sites were from Nuitech. Which is why they said, "i finally got approved for my nuitech gift of $1000 visa (rewarding-promos - THANK YOU for posting that link on your blog)."
First PM:
"also i finally got approved for my nuitech gift of $1000 visa (rewarding-promos - THANK YOU for posting that link on your blog). this is news too because they decided to waive the gift voucher "security verfication" step for me, but they did send me a w9 to get notarized so maybe that is why. they also provided the fax number to fax the w9 - i did not remember them doing that in the past that could be my bad memory"
Second PM:
"received my $1000 today in two envelopes, $500 visa in each one. gift was a 1K visa. came from las olas blvd in FL at nuitech's address. 6 weeks from notarized w-9 form faxed to them, to receiving. so they order gc, receive, then mail. usually they order and it gets sent directly from gift card company. no emails from nuitech in 6 weeks about shipping request issued or gift shipped. i was too busy and left it alone. so happy to have my gc's."
This member's payment came from the Las Olas Blvd address because Nuitech handles Amped Media's Fulfillment. This serves as proof of payment for Amped Media. I know of one other person who was working on a rewarding promos site last year, but I never heard back on their progress. Hopefully they got paid, too.
Next we have I-Deal crediting issues. Who's having problems getting credit for offers? Raise your hands. Me, me, me! I certainly am, and I have given up. The site I was working on was even harder than the one I did last year. Below is the correspondence I've had with two others who have experienced the same bad luck.

member,
I've seen offers take as long as 2 weeks to credit. But in most cases, if an offer doesn't credit within 5 to 7 days, you most likely need to do replacements. Wait a week to see if the others credit. If they do not credit, then do 5 replacement offers.

Woz,
Today is the 7th day since I did the offers and I am still only showing 5 out of 10 credited (all Silver, all Gold, but only 1 Platinum). Am I screwed? Or is it possible that the Platinum offers could still credit like after 10 days or something? 5 replacement offers is a lot to do so I am hoping that the others could still credit. What do you think? Thanks.

What's your sign up date? I assume you did them all in one sitting at the time of registration, which would be July 7th or around that date? I registered July 6th and only 1 out of 5 offers has credited. So I am a bit mad right now. I knew I-Deal wouldn't help me, but I contacted them anyway, blaming the crediting issue on their site. It was worth a shot even though I knew they'd refer me to the T&C, and state that they do not manually credit offers. Because only 1 offer out of 5 credited, that means I spent $55.00 for just one offer credit, and I am not sure if I should proceed, or if I even can since my card has been rejected by sponsor offers.
I have seen offers take up to 2-3 weeks to credit. So yours could credit within the next week or so. But after 2-3 weeks you will most likely have to do replacements if your offers haven't credited by then, because if your offers do not credit within 2-3 weeks, they probably never will, and replacement offers are recommended so you receive credit before your account expires. As for my situation, I am waiting to see if my offers credit before doing anymore... In the meantime, I am building up more money to put toward doing more offers because I'd like to finish the site! Hopefully by the time I've built up enough money to finish it, the site will credit better. I'm contemplating doing the offers that didn't credit again in different categories to possibly get credit.
My advice is to wait about a week to see if your offers credit. If you have the additional funds to do more offers, do one or two more BUT do no more than one or two at a time. For example, if you have 5 offers left, do one one day and maybe one or two the next. That is how I finished my last I-Deal site. I made the mistake of doing them all in one sitting last year, so I ended up burning though 15-16 offers on an 8 offer site to get it done! What saved me was realizing that the offers credited better when you did them one or two at a time, which is what I started doing... If I hadn't done that, I may never have gotten paid. I remember that I was almost a month and a half into my 60-day time period when I was stuck on my last offer. I was fortunate enough to get the last one done, and then I immediately sent out my paperwork and was processed within 9 days. Whew.
Sorry for the delayed response, btw. I have been busy with summer school (math classes), and have been working, even on weekends. And right now, I just started the process of researching for August's blog! But you can rest assured that I am receiving your messages, though it takes me a while to answer. :)
Are you still 5 out of 10 offers? Let me know.
Thanks,
wozniack"

And no worries about getting back to me, if you need any help with the math, let me know, I'm a math teacher :) So I will wait another week and see If they credit, if not I''ll do some replacement offers. Do the replacement offers still credit overnight or has that changed also? Thanks.

I'm giving it another week or two on my end to see if my offers credit. As far as I know, replacement offers still credit overnight. With these crediting issues, however, some of your replacement offers may not credit... It may be a gradual process of getting this done, where only 1 or 2 replacements credit at a time, if that makes sense. For example, assuming you still need 5 out of 10 to credit; let's say you did 5 replacement offers but only 3 out of those 5 credited. Well, you would have to do two more replacement offers to make up for the replacement offers that failed to credit. BUT the three that did credit credited overnight, so technically the replacement offers would credit overnight, just 2 out of 5 wouldn't credit because of the crediting issues. Hope that makes sense.
Really? How long have you been a math teacher? ::this part went on about math, not DIY::
Sorry for going on and on... I will stop right here. :) Let me know if you have anymore I-Deal questions.

Woz,
I am still at 5 out of 10 so today I did one replacement offer on the Platinum page. I am thinking if I do one replacement offer a day, the chances of them crediting are far better than doing two. What do you think? Or is doing two offers a day just as safe as doing one a day? BTW, I have been teaching math for 12 years now so if you need any help, let me know.

Yes, I think one replacement a day is the best course of action until we start to see positive results from I-Deal. I will be contacting them soon to confirm my date of registration, and to point out this statement on their gift site, "PLEASE ALLOW 30 DAYS FOR THE QUALIFICATION OF OFFERS BEFORE EMAILING CUSTOMER SERVICE. WE WILL ONLY EVALUATE REQUESTS AFTER 30 DAYS." With that wording on their site, they have to at least look at the offers that haven't credited on my account. Whether or not they approve those offers is up to them, but that will give them something to acknowledge.
And thanks! I appreciate that. I'll let you know if I need any help with math. :)

Have you had any progress since our last exchange? I hope so. If not, wait 2-3 days between each offer you do, and do no more than one offer at a time. You may want to clear your cookies every 2-3 days before completing any offers, too. I don't know if this will work, but you may try doing the same offers again to see if they go through. Unfortunately, not much else can be done, because I-Deal does not manually credit offers and their crediting system is messed up.
Please let me know your progress.
Have a good weekend!

I never went back and did any offers because I couldn't keep spending money on offers for them not to go through. For me, this site was worse than the one I did last year... I did not have a shot with this one, so I let it go. If I can figure out what''s going on with CRS/Faraji, I might do them again. I thought of trying a Faraji site instead of doing I-Deal and I should have went with my initial thought. I'm sorry your progress is not going so well. I would keep trying though since you are 7 out of 10, and still have some time. Maybe take a week-long break, return, and then you'll start seeing positive results. All you need is three more.
Would you mind if I shared your experience with my readers? You, myself, and one other person who contacted me today, are in the same boat and I'd like to write about I-Deal's crediting issues this month. I'm in the process of writing August's blog and hope to have it done no later than tomorrow. I will make you anonymous. :)

member,
I regret that you are having the same issues that others are having. I strongly suggest for you to take it an offer at a time every 2-3 days so you don't burn though so many offers. Do no more than one or two offers at a time, and wait two days before doing anymore. Its a slow process when this happens, but it's best to do a little at a time instead of doing a whole set at once and only having a handful credit. My experience went like this. Given my issues last year, I didn't trust the site, so I only did 5 instead of 8 all at once. Well, only one offer credited after I spent $55.00, so its like I spent $55.00 for one offer. After weighing it in my mind, I decided not to proceed with the site. It would have been too costly for me. I have had offers take as long as 2-3 weeks to approve, but the other four offers I did never credited and it has been almost a month; I did all five in one sitting at the time of registration. And no, I-Deal has not resolved this issue, but they need to address this matter and I think I will contact them about it.
Is it alright by you if I share your experience with my readers? I am in the process of writing August's blog, and I want to discuss this crediting issue. By discussing it, members will be more aware of this issue before doing an I-Deal site, and they may want to take my advice on doing only 2-3 offers at a time, if they still wish to do one. I promise to make you anonymous. :)
Thanks,
wozniack"
Member #2 said I could share their e-mail. These conversations are just to show what has been going on. I had hoped everything would go fine this time, that my offers would credit without fail. I was wrong. I'll be in touch with I-Deal very soon. I need to contact them about a much bigger issue anyway, if you can believe that. What can be bigger than this? Well, let's just say there were some disqualifications due to some sort of glitch. But I don't want to rush the letter, I want to make sure I cover all the details so I-Deal addresses our concerns.
In other news, I am still earning with Toluna and MyPoints. I loaded $20.00 I made off surveys Survey Scout Research to my Payoneer Mastercard. I have a $25.00 check coming from an independent study, just waiting on the second questionnaire so I can finish. And I am getting a code for a free pair of shoes from Activate Panel. The activity study I was selected for I did back in May, so I am wondering when we'll get our shoe codes. I've sent them e-mails for over a month now, because our shipments keep getting delayed. I thought I'd ask them a different question this time. So I asked if the codes had a monetary value, and which online retailer they were for. Hopefully we get them this week!
